1990 Bing Crosby Pro-Am
[edit]Three reliable sources I have read (Sports Illustrated, Big Game: The NFL in Dangerous Times by New York Times reporter Mark Liebovich, and Mighty1090 which is the San Diego sports station) recount how Spanos was not invited back to the Bing Crosby Pro-Am after accusations of sandbagging i.e., inflating his golf handicap. Any thoughts on adding this to the article? bzzne (talk) 20:13, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Obscure, and not relevant to his notability as a team owner. David notMD (talk) 21:04, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Fair enough. bzzne (talk) 21:15, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
