Article title
[edit]I think the title should probably be dead ice (unhyphenated). I think the hyphen only appears since the term is so often used in phrases like dead-ice moraine which need one inserting. Dead-ice moraine forms because of dead ice.
A quick search on Google Scholar suggests both versions are used, but in my opinion dead ice is more grammatically correct. The deciding factor would be whether glaciologists normally stress ice or dead when saying the phrase.
I think the page should be moved back to dead ice unless there's a good reason not to.

- Update: the Cryosphere Glossary reference I've added for the definition also uses the unhyphenated form. Musiconeologist (talk) 20:45, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
