Hello! I will review this. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. Quibbles: charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • While touring for second studio albumWhile touring for their second studio album
  • The song begins with a flatlining heart rate monitor, picking up from "The End." and making a transition between the two songs – this could probably be shortened to making a transition from "The End." or similar
  • The song received a gold certification from the RIAA in October 2021, and a silver certification from the BPI in January 2023. – RIAA and BPI are opaque abbreviations; consider spelling them out
  • Entertainment Weekly's Ariana Bacle and Alternative Press' Mackenzie Templeton – use {{'s}} for the former and consider rewording the latter as Mackenzie Templeton of Alternative Press per MOS:'s. Also don't see why Entertainment Weekly and Alternative Press shouldn't be linked.
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
2. Verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). Spotchecks (numbers from this oldid): charlotte 👸♥ 00:54, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • 5: Green tickY (except the below issue)
  • 8: Green tickY, same as 5
  • 12: Green tickY
  • 14: Green tickY
2c. it contains no original research. See 2b for spotcheck.

"Dead!" has been frequently considered one of the best songs from The Black Parade, as well as one of the best from the bands discography. seems quite OR-y to me, given that it's only citing their positions on rankings. I'd say the sentence can just be removed, seeing as all the reviews are already talked about. charlotte 👸♥ 00:54, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism. see 2b
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style). charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. Only image is freely licenced (and was reviewed by a Commons admin).
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
7. Overall assessment. Prose quibbles and pending spotcheck. charlotte 👸♥ 08:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Placing on hold. charlotte 👸♥ 00:54, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
