Publication rejected?
[edit]The present article states that both Cambridge University Press and the Royal Society declined to publish De Analysi in Newton's lifetime. Could someone provide better or more specific sources for this claim? I can't find it in Westfall, and I haven't been able to consult Whiteside. The present citation to the CUP story is to a long book with no page reference given. The citation for the Royal Society story looks irrelevant. The point is of some wider interest, as it is generally supposed that Newton was very reluctant to publish his work.81.146.36.124 (talk) 17:15, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
