Reason for delete
[edit]The reason I tagged the article for deletion is that Dawn Warner Ramos was in Walker, not Dawn Rochelle Warner, (my summary clearly indicated this, you can still see this in the article history) I didn't see anything indicating that they were the same person in the article or in the links you provided. Have to assume they are not the same person since that is the actual TITLE of the article and the information doesn't match up. Pharmboy (talk) 03:31, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I am new to this process but the imdb page http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0743471/ states "Dawn Warner Ramos - Carlos' Girlfriend (as Dawn Warner). and The imdb bio talks about Dawn's creation of the Miss Latina USA pageant also referenced in the wiki article. "Dawn Warner" was "Dawn Warner Ramos" when briefly married to Josue Ramos.

You might want to copy your article text down in a text editor and read up on how to properly title and cite the article. I don't think it will pass muster as it is. You can't have cites using different names than the subject. I am not an expert on how to do this for you, but if you read up on policy a bit, you can keep this from happening in the future. We can't read your mind, and we can't be expected to read every word in every citation and draw a reference out to see that it *might* be her. Then again, it might NOT be her, as it states "Dawn Warner", not Dawn Rochelle Warner. Also, which name is she using now? THAT is the name you might use, then create REDIRECTS from pages from her 'previous' names to the main article, with her current name. In short, I am sure you mean well, but you might want to read up a bit on the policies here before starting an article like this that can get really confusing. I will put a welcome template on your talk page with some links. Someone already did, try them out. Pharmboy (talk) 03:58, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. We will try to get this all corrected. Mali07 (talk) 04:03, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I am working on an essay at User_talk:Pharmboy/PDT that is in NO way an official document of Wikipedia. It is a very rough draft, but you may find the info useful. Pharmboy (talk) 04:07, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
found citation
[edit]I found one weak cite that indicates the two names are the same person. It was a pdf in spanish (thank you translate.google.com). I removed tag. The article still needs citations, but it is out of the woods, in my opinion. Pharmboy (talk) 14:23, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
