Talk:David Vogel (author)
I think it is not correct to assign David Vogel the category "Soviet people who died in Auschwitz concentration camp" since he left the Russian empire before the revolution and as far as I know, never came back. He was imprisoned in Austria during World War I for being Russian, but then again in France during WW II for being Austrian/German. I don't think he was ever a soviet citizen.
I also don't think that this article should be classified under the "WikiProject Israel", as he was not an Israeli (he died before the State of Israel was founded) and he only spent about one year in Palestine. His literature is set in Europe (mostly Vienna). Vogel was a Jewish Hebrew poet and writer. He had absolutely nothing to do with the State of Israel.
