Primary Sources
[edit]There are two third party sources. They are at the bottom of the article. MathSciNet is run by the American Mathematical Society, and the Mathematics Genealogy Project is run by North Dakota State University. Besides that, please feel free to Google "David Trotman" & mathematics. For that reason I have removed the primary sources tag. I have left the three other tags in place until I can find more references. But seriously: Google the guy. He's very famous in singularity theory circles! - Are there any other links available to varify the information in this page? I'm certain that it's all correct, but Wikipedia ask for third party evidence. Maybe some links to websites maintained by third parties. Declan Davis (talk) 20:33, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Exactly - and that's the point of the refimprove tag that I added earlier. At the moment the only "in-line" refs are to his own website that's not a reliable source source for Wikipedia purposes. – ukexpat (talk) 18:23, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Final Touches
[edit]There is now some in text referencing, but not as much as there should be. Each of the external links should be replaced with a reference to an external link. I don't know how the reference commands work, so I'll have to leave it to someone that does. The references as they stand don't work properly. I've made a reference list (this is done automatically by adding a command line), but the list doesn't seem right. Declan Davis (talk) 19:08, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
