- The articles on the two Australian politicians named David Thomson have now been moved per the result of the discussion at Talk:David Thomson (Labor Party politician)#Requested move. EdJohnston (talk) 12:29, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid the article will have to be moved again. The New Zealand politician, David Spence Thomson, has just been moved to David Thomson (New Zealand politician), and I've checked that this is indeed the correct common name for him (principally by consulting Barry Gustafson's The First 50 Years, which describes the history of the New Zealand National Party). And therein lies the problem – the New Zealander belonged to the National Party. Maybe his Australian counterpart should have "Australian National Party politician" as disambiguation. Thoughts?
