Studied under Rubens?
[edit]"Having received his first training in the painter's art from his brother Juliaen, he studied under Rubens in Antwerp, and subsequently under Elsheimer in Rome; he became a member of the Antwerp gild of painters in 1606." This makes no sense whatsoever. Elsheimer is important, but Teniers doubtfully studied under the young Rubens before going to Italy. Rubens was still a student himself. This sounds like more public domain nonsense perpetuated in the 21st century from 19th-century conjecture repeated in the 1911 Encyclopedia B. --Stomme 02:33, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
