[edit]

This artist's article has been removed and set to redirect to Palaeo at least twice so far based on the opinion that the artist does not merit an entry, as he has only released on self titled album. To challenge that, I note here that he has just completed a YEAR LONG PROJECT (roughly the equivalent to "36 albums") which contains 365 original songs (again, in only as many days). A lot of his approach to his art is intentionally contrary to the established system of major label dominance. He is in fact looking to embrace a change that is on its way in the music business--the dawning of the age of digital distribution (all of said songs are currently available on his website), and the state in which "physical media" is left in the wake of this new age. Paleo is at the forefront of this era of music, independent of major labels and traditional media conventions. He is an artist driven by a deep desire to create art. This may seem redundant but it is this fact that fundamentally drives him. Not "commercial success" or "money" per se, but an idealistic (to be sure) and unrelenting need to create. His art is about music. In a lot of ways, that seems to be a minority position.

So what are people talking about when they say they eat paleo? 80.213.8.132 (talk) 10:10, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Revamp coming

[edit]

If people have specific thoughts about how to revamp this article, or specific issues to address, please make them now. I'm a Wikipedia volunteer who is working on an Editing for donations project and this is one of the artists. An example of my revamping -- look at Rachid Taha before the revamp, and after. --Tomwsulcer (talk) 23:44, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note: this revamp is an Editing for donations project, similar to Bounty Board, in that Partisan Records and Knitting Factory Records is contributing funds to the Wikimedia Foundation to prompt volunteers like me to write about this particular subject. Regardless of this donation, all Wikipedia's pillar rules still apply: neutrality, reliable sources, notability, no advertising, verifiability, balance and such. Feel free to edit this article like any other. I encourage others here to join me in the editing for donations project since it helps pay for things like computers and salaries and whatever they do (Wikimedia is a non-profit parent to Wikipedia). There's a list of still-to-be completed articles on my user page under "Partisan Records" and "Knitting Factory Records". Questions? See here. --Tomwsulcer (talk) 23:04, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

– There is a book also named Paleo. David Strackany was probably born David Strackany and then adopted the aka Paleo, which is opposite of his article lead. Alrich44 (talk) 21:28, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
