Suggested move
[edit]As this screenwriter is always credited as David Webb Peoples, I suggest that this article be moved to his full name. This will alleviate the need to pipe link his name in every article. Any thoughts on this? ---RepublicanJacobiteTheFortyFive 16:07, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Do note he was credited as David Peoples on his first several films, including Blade Runner. He wasn't credited as David Webb Peoples until Unforgiven. Then he went back to David Peoples for Twelve Monkeys. So he actually has more credits without the middle name. Probably best to leave it as it is, with a re-direct from the full name. - Gothicfilm (talk) 04:12, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- The BFI website has him as David Webb Peoples and notes "Usually known as David Peoples prior to 1990". As it would appear that he currently goes by David Webb Peoples, is it not more appropriate to move the page to this? --Rob Sinden (talk) 14:53, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- I am now wavering. The BFI site would certainly be a reliable source, but is it enough to divine his preference? And is his preference enough to justify a move? As I say, I am not as certain as I was two days ago. ---RepublicanJacobiteTheFortyFive 13:51, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
