Initial comments

  • Not "b." but "born".
  • Spread out the "O'Connor" and "he" in the lead. A little lop-sided right now.
  • " in Washington, D.C..[1]" avoid the double period.
  • "marking a historical Olympic moment." explanation required.
  • " O'Connor is an avid " .... not so sure we need this personal POV stuff.
  • I thought we typically italicised horse names, but I'm not sure. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You're wrong (grin and smiles), we don't italicise horse names. Nowhere on WPEQ anyway, or anywhere else that I know of. I'll let Dana handle the rest of these, I'm just lurking... --MontanaBW
Glad to hear it. I blame Frankie Dettori's article for that. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:02, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • "as an alternate" being a Brit, I'm sure what this means, is it a substitute? Could you link it?
  • "5th place" -> "fifth place" etc (for numbers below 10).
  • "riding Giltedge, rode to an individual 6th" riding.. rode... repetitive.
  • "CCI4*" is there a link for this, what does it mean?
  • "Chef d’équipe" link?
  • Link/explain FEI.
  • "Also in 2002, O'Conner " typo? Check others.
  • You use USEA before explaining/linking it.
  • Consider piping the reflinks to 30em so it doesn't occupy so much space.
  • Author names, either first last, or last, first. Be consistent.

That's a first run through, I'll place it on hold for a week. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:56, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Dana, let me know if we need to add any of the above terms to Glossary of equestrian terms for a link where one is needed and we have no article. Montanabw(talk) 20:49, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

TRM, thanks for the review and comments! I believe I have addressed all of your comments above? Montana, I added one definition to the glossary page (with a link from the article), and found good links for everything else. Thanks for the reminder about that page!
