{{inprogress}} Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 22:26, 1 March 2021 (UTC) Overall, the article is in solid shape. I went through and performed a copyedit, focused on streamlining some passages; I also reduced the focus on the conviction of Willis, given this isn't his article.[reply]

  • Article has enough context, appropriate structure and sourcing.
  • Images appropriately licensed and attributed; fair use rationale for mugshot is decent enough for NFCC purposes.
  • Spotchecked statements attributed to current refs 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 15, 18, 19, and 22. In general, didn't spot verification or plagiarism issues.
    • I don't think ref 4 can be used to cite the statement about getting in trouble from a young age, given that his statement is imprecise.
    • Ref 9 doesn't support the September 27 death date of the three victims.

Thanks for this feedback, David. When putting the entry together, I had a hard time figuring out how much to emphasize the Willis stuff, so your edit definitely helped. I took out the mention of getting into trouble early since I couldn't find anything specific. The sources indicate that Long started drinking at 12 and ended up in reform school, so I left it at that. In the section about the murder date, I added two sources from elsewhere in the article (one supporting the murder date and one saying that the bodies were found two days later). Let me know if these areas read okay now. Thanks again. Larry Hockett (Talk) 13:49, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The changes look good. I'll give it another look-over tomorrow to see if there are any other issues, if not I'll pass. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 20:29, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
