Date of birth
[edit]I was in school with Mr King in 1964, and I was in the year below him. I was born in 1949 and therefore he must have been born in 1948. There is no argument about this. I do not understand why anyone would wish to lose 8 years of their life.
I cannot sign this as I do not wish to cause trouble, however this a true statement, and I challenge Mr King to deny this — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bridgemates (talk • contribs) 23:55, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for this note. Please note that information in Wikipedia is subject to verifiability. Therefore, it needs to be supported by published/accessible sources. While your statement may be true, it is not verifiable as such, so would be difficult for other editors to confirm.
- However, I did spot an earlier article which mentioned he was age 60 in 2009, closer to a 1948-9 birth date. Until the sources can be better resolved, it is probably best to omit the birth date. Dl2000 (talk) 03:25, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
