silly tag
[edit]I will remove the nn tag if it's not explained properly. Andrewjlockley (talk) 00:24, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
The nn tag is self-explanatory. The article needs "reliable, secondary sources about the topic."--Dmol (talk) 06:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Why aren't the int. links good enough? Why is the UCal site not a RS? Andrewjlockley (talk) 21:41, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
include Eli Kintisch's 2010 book Hack the Planet quote
[edit]Keith speaking about climate change and global warming, stated "Being silent is unethical and arrogant" per Eli Kintisch's 2010 book "Hack the Planet: Science's Best Hope, or Worst Nightmare, for Averting Climate Catastrophe" ISBN 978-0470524268. 141.218.35.38 (talk) 00:45, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- Considering your history of misquoting references, we would need a reliable source as to the content, and verification that the book is non-fiction from a respectable imprint. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 08:13, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

- I haven't misquoted one reference, although I've missed some content which was on a different page or a sidebar. You are still misquoting the NYTU article quoting a speech. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 06:11, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

(od) Focus. It is about "Being silent is unethical and arrogant". 108.195.138.38 (talk) 05:50, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- As I said, even if the book is a reliable source, you are not a credible source for the content. I'm not completely convinced the book is a reliable source, or that your context is correct, even if the quote were (almost) correct. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 07:33, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- No one has to take anyone "who for it", just look it up in Google Books. It is on page 10. 99.109.124.44 (talk) 08:09, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Inadequate context there to determine whether the context here is correct. Placing it as a raw quote doesn't help much. I agree that, whether or not the book is generally a reliable source, it's unlikely Keith is misquoted. However, the importance of the quote is also questionable. Perhaps, suggest it to Wikiquote. I really don't understand their standards for inclusion, but it seems to fit better, there. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 14:51, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

I am the subject of this bio. It has many errors and is distorted. My preference would be to delete the page. If that's not possible I would like to get the errors fixed.
I don't understand the wiki rules. I understand that I am not supposed to edit the page myself, but I have asked several times to have errors fixed and have received no response.
This Errors: 1. I have Canadian, US and UK, citizenship, and my primary job is in the US. Drop "Canadian".
2. "He has been the Gordon McKay"... This is my job now.
3. The external link shows U-calgary.
Distortions (2 examples of many): 1. The only statement about my work is that I "work in carbon dioxide air capture". Why list only this? Make a reasonable list of the main topics I have worked on or cut this one out.
2. "Documentary Who owns the Weather"" seems to be dead or dormant. I have been in a bunch of documentaries. My suggestion would be to list none of them, but if one is to be listed why list a non-existent one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dwkeith (talk • contribs) 05:19, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
