Hezbollah?
[edit]- The article describes the insurgents Bellavia chased down as being part of Hezbollah. Hezbollah is a paramilitary organization based in Lebanon -- what were they doing in Fallujah? Surely this can't be the same organization. 67.161.245.125 (talk) 06:21, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
- Also, if memory serves the jihadi in Fallujah were salafi/wahabi Sunni and Hezbollah is a Shi'ite organisation... 82.1.7.156 (talk) 16:14, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

Political career
[edit]The section on Bellavia's political career is entirely too detailed. Bellavia tried and failed twice to be elected to Congress. This is, at best, a footnote to the rest of this article, and does not merit an equal or greater coverage than his military career. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:51, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Dan- David Bellavia is a major player in Western New York Politics. Signed PolSci101 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PolSci101 (talk • contribs) 17:20, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- A "major player" would be a person who has actually held an office or been instrumental in the party organization of a major party. Bellavia is a person who has run for office twice; the second time by forming his own party which was eventually disallowed from the ballot. This is not a major player. On the contrary to the above post, Bellavia co-hosts a very influential radio talk show that discusses politics much of the time. His opinions on politics likely carry more weight over the region than do the opinions of the elected politicians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.188.231.2 (talk) 16:46, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
Debate with The Erie county Ex. and Chrissy Casilio: Your opinion: " He wiped the floor with her" You owe Chrissy an apology. Big Time. She is not a poliician He is. She is going to work for the people and he works for himself. I'm an 91 year old resident of Clarence and she has my vote. You disappointed me. I enjoyed listening to you but what you said surprised me. Marie Metzger 716 759 1049 40.137.217.22 (talk) 20:19, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
