Background info and views on evolution
[edit]Another editor deleted a passage that referenced Pasch's statement that he did not believe in evolution, saying that such views had nothing to do with his play-by-play work. While that's true, it's not a reason to delete relevant info, and you don't have to go very far to see other examples of this type of info being included in articles about notable sportscasters, such as Keith Law and Curt Schilling. The statement was also made during his play-by-play duties on ESPN, so it's certainly not like anyone had to go digging for info on his creationist views - he publicly espoused them while doing his job as a sportscaster.
