Early Life
[edit]He cut off some girls hair? Is this the best the Early Life section has to offer? I mean, how low can Wikipedia fall? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.9.226.255 (talk) 21:28, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Good point. The sole source is a smear piece from a sneering, London-based "serious" newspaper that parades its right-on and politically-correct credentials when it suits them, but is quite happy to go with third rate bigoted 1970s working men's club comedy innuendo about "special schools" and somebody's lack of a sexual relationship if they think it makes a good story. They don't quite go as far as sticking their tongue in their lower lip and going "gunnnnrrrh!", but that's clearly the overall tone they're aiming for. 217.155.20.163 (talk) 00:38, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, it wasn't a particularly good source and maybe it was partly trivia; maybe when I added the reference I should have removed that, as well as the unverifiable nonsense I did remove, although I had less understanding of Wikipedia's policies (particularly about sources and undue weight) at the time. I've redirected the article; he seems to be only notable as a member of the band, so unless the main article becomes too long, a separate article probably isn't needed. snigbrook (talk) 21:46, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
