Notability
[edit]This article and its deletion discussion were brought to my attention; however, I did not delete the article via CSD G4 because this new version is not identical to the previous one. Also, upon doing some investigation, I see that The Province calls him "one of the most popular dubstep DJs around", he gets a little bit of coverage in Eye Weekly, [1] [2], and even some brief coverage in the Liverpool Echo, so I would think, with the coverage in Spinner.com as well, it may pass the bar of general notability. This was cause for deletion? Whats the point of having an encyclopedia if you delete something that you dont deem as "well known" and "notable"? The point is to have a database of info, not a collection of "hot topics". Also, Im editing this article by way of removing putting a tracklist for an album in the general info, and, you know, giving the album its own entry? 98.202.175.139 (talk) 17:38, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Datsik Debut Album
[edit]As cause for necessity, I removed the tracklist that was simply just posted on the artist page and have created a page for the album itself, and will fix and add links to this page once/if the page gets approved. If anyone feels upset that the tracklist was removed, or if the page doesnt get approved, Ill save the tracklist here for other editors convenience.

"Dubstep" vs. "Brostep"
[edit]I changed the genre listing in two places from "brostep" to "dubstep." "Brostep" has more of a negative connotation, not to mention the term's informal nature. I would personally avoid using the term in any context other than general conversation. 99.181.49.152 (talk) 15:09, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
"the methods he uses to create his sounds is often the source of great debate"
[edit]The 3rd sentence contains this phrase, which is confusing. Is it saying that people don't know how he makes his sounds, or that they are upset by how he makes his sounds? Regardless, if there really is "great debate" there should be at least one source referenced. Wickedjacob (talk) 10:24, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Datsik discography
[edit]Support split - Discography section takes up more than one third of the page and should be split to a new article entitled Datsik discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 04:36, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

To resolve the no references issue in the Firepower Records section, please add the source from the lead as well as these additional two sources to the second paragraph. [3] [4] 2601:589:8000:2ED0:A4A2:59DA:B465:F20D (talk) 19:15, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
- Partly done: Not all of the section's content is verified in the articles, but I have cited them where possible. I have not cited the article by The Collegiate because it is a student publication; these are generally not reliable outside of matters pertaining to the institutions they write for and about. Given that the section now contains at least one reference, I have also changed the unreferenced tag to a refimprove tag. LifeofTau 02:54, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
