This article does not make a difference between:
- sanitization of systems and storage, essentially erasing bits
- sanitization of sensitive data to make documents or datasets less sensitive, essentially removing fields, anonymization or pseudonymzation
- sanitization of machine learning input data to protect from functional defiencies in models
Maybe this should be divided, or at least the different chapters should have contextualizing intros?
