Data Robotics has invented a new technology which is covered in two other Wikipedia articles, both the RAID article and the Drobo article. The company is linked in those articles but the company article was missing so I've added it so those links are no longer broken. The new technology is a fundamental shift from RAID which has been established for over 20 years which is why it's covered in both the RAID and Drobo articles.
Right now the company is outselling other companies who do have Wikipedia pages such as Netgear so it's tricky to see why they are worth inclusion into an encyclopedia but it is not.
I'd be happy to change the article if it seems promotional as this was not the intention and would welcome feedback as to why it seems promotional.

Please keep this article and others like it. I find them useful to find information not on the firm's websites, and to be much more quickly alerted to controversies. In this case, the firm is notable for its innovations, and has been widely praised for introducing a new kind of data virtualization. It appears that something like this kind of data virtualization is being sought in a new Linux standard database as a major advance. Once that FOSS effort is clearer, and has product, then commentary that embeds this firm's contributions within the competitive forefront would be helpful. Wikipedia can be even more useful when it is not just about the past, but includes reports from the present forefront. GreggEdwards (talk) 20:23, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
