[edit]In the paragraph entitled Creation it is stated that "The song was first recorded in 1960 by Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers on the album The Big Beat. That album was recorded at the Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, March 6, 1960.
However the composer Bobby Timmons recorded "Dat Dere" on his This Here is Bobby Timmons album recorded in New York City on January 13 & 14, 1960.
