Didn't get his 1st NFL interception against San Diego, the play was reversed. First came against Oakland.--JPost 22:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

shot at 3am, pronounced dead at 2am?

We need a rewrite of the paragraph about his death. The sentence stating that "these things always seem to lower Denver's esteem, especially after all those school shootings," doesn't seem appropriate for the article. Thesleeper38 20:28, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changed the header title

[edit]

I changed the header title to death, as I don't think murder is very appropriate. Xacidx 23:31, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changed the header title

[edit]

I changed the header title to murder since he was murdered as I think the truth is appropriate. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.209.233.63 (talk) 01:24, 3 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

That doesn't mean he didn't die. Look in any other article. There's precedent for using death. If you feel the need to change it again, I'll ask an admin for their input. Xacidx 02:10, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

murder implies it was intentional. they aren't even sure if it was a random act of violence, some one in his group was the target or if he was the target. i second the "death" header or possibly homicide, since the circumstances are unknown.

Deleting the sidenote in Death

[edit]

That kind of note doesn't belong in an encyclopedia, and makes a POV issue in my mind. If yo're going to upload pictures later, great, but you don't need to leave a note on the article itself. Tabmoc72 17:45, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Death paragraph

[edit]

Unlike, for example, James Kim, Williams was known for other things beside his death, although his death is an undeniably important facet of his notability (at least right now). Therefore it seems to me that it's not really appropriate to focus so much on it in this article. I'm going to trim the section a bit and remove the unnecessary section headers. If anyone strenously objects, feel free to discuss and change.--Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 22:30, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the link on the name 'Brandon Flowers' because it links to the page of the Killers' frontman, and a survey of the cited sources has led me to conclude that that is not the same Flowers who was involved in this incident. 207.179.127.251 00:19, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

noticed error

[edit]

something tells me his girlefriend isn't 6 years old. anyone have the actual age? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.211.211.162 (talk) 01:14, 23 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Also noticed his death was listed as both January 1 2007 in the intro but January 2 in the box. Corrected the second to January 1 as that is the correct date of his death.

the jersey #

[edit]

he was # 27 but it says N/A so that can be changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.153.167.233 (talk) 22:41, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone should add a picture...--Kennedyniles (talk) 22:34, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was Brandon Flowers that was shot not Brandon Marshall

[edit]

The article has Brandon Marshall as also being shot and released the next day from the hospital.

This is from the news story that is used as a reference. Denver Post: "Another shooting victim, Brandon Flowers, was released Monday."

Theories on killing abound - The Denver Post http://www.denverpost.com/ci_4939240#ixzz2nrapFUGS

I have fixed the mistake.

Mattsky (talk) 21:23, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It was brought to attention that the Brandon Flowers that was shot is not the NFL player by the same name. The only thing I could find on it was a message board post saying he was playing a college game that day and that he most likely flew home with the team after the game. There is a musician by that name too or it could be some person that is not notable that happens to have the same name.

In fairness to the two notable Brandon Flowers and to avoid confusion if somebody can't figure out which Brandon Flowers was shot then perhaps it should be deleted. Mattsky (talk) 22:43, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
