Clean-up needed
[edit]The article is a mess - the TOC starts way down the page, The "See also" section should be prose in the article body, the gallery section is not needed, the poem does not need to be quoted, etc. My attempt to clean up his article was undone. I will not waste my time if my attempts at improving the article are not accepted. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 04:58, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

To include?
[edit]Should the Swainsona greyana be mentioned?
Some fish species that are native to the Murray-Darling river system include eel-tailed catfish, river blackfish, two-spined blackfish and to a lesser extent the golden perch the western carp gudgeon. The article on stream capture mentions some events. Should they and/or some native fish species be included in this article or is their range more wider than just the Darling River and therefore don't need to be included?
Our article on anabranch mentions the Great Darling Anabranch. I'm fairly sure we need to cover that as well as the Menindee Lakes scheme, other major lakes and water storage facilties such as weirs and irrigation projects. - Shiftchange (talk) 16:24, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

Media
[edit]A URL editor contributed this statement to the article, moved here without comment, as I don't understand it:
It is assumed that all known media was produced pre-20th century north of Magnetawan, Ontario, and despite being of an Australian river, is a wholly Canadian lithographic sheet. Doug butler (talk) 01:02, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
