Consolidation
[edit]Some effort should be made to rationalise this page, the Molecular_cloud page and the HII_regions page. Fig 23:26, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Giant Molecular Cloud
[edit]The H II region article links to Giant Molecular Cloud, which redirects here. Molecular Cloud has a section on Giant Molecular Clouds. This section links as 'Main article: Giant Molecular Cloud', which goes here so redirecting the Giant Molecular Cloud article to the Molecular Cloud article would be confusing.
Perhaps changing the redirect of Giant Molecular Cloud to Molecular Cloud rather than here, and removing the reference in the Molecular Cloud article to a 'main article' on Giant Molecular Clouds would be a good idea. Honestly all these articles could do with a proper cleanup though, which might be preferable.
- Just going through a clean up. Moved the GMC redirect to Molecular Cloud as suggested.--Jason Kirk 08:51, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

"in the inner outer regions"
[edit]"In the inner outer molecular regions of dark nebulae, important events take place"
That's a bit confusing. Could someone clear that up? jasper jon (talk) 04:52, 30 March 2023 (UTC)

Did Britannica copy from this?
[edit]It looks like some sentences from this article are the same as sentences from the Britannica article on the same subject. Given that the article was created before the Britannica article was created online, I am not sure if the creator of the article has copied from an offline version of Britannica or if Britannica copied from this article. 0xDeadbeef 01:03, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
