The cover!
[edit]The cover has appeared so could someone post the picture here? I posted the link. 76.27.108.99 21:02, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Someone deleted the link, but you can still find it in this page's history. Oceanstream, 5:52, 5 August 2007
See the Fair Use Rationale thing by the Betacommandbot robot. Apparently you didn't specify why it could be used on Wikipedia. I know it's troublesome, I hate it. Try looking at what people say for the images where the little bot doesn't but his shiny exclamation mark on the talk page. I'm sorry you have to go through it again, the bot killed one of my imgs and I still haven't replaced it as of yet. IceUnshattered (talk) 00:01, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DarkRiver.png
[edit]Image:DarkRiver.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Incorrect AfD Link
[edit]I saw the AfD notice and when it said to click on Dark Rivers' entry, it led to the Fire And Ice AfD entry instead.Iceberg2229 (talk) 23:38, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
That entry is for all of the Warriors articles IceUnshattered (talk) 23:59, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but when I clicked on Dark River, it led to the article again. I don't think someone even put an AfD on it.Iceberg2229 (talk) 00:51, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Ohhhhhh, I don't know. I think someone just randomly classified all things Warriors into the AfD, to my disgust. Unfortunately, I can't do much more about it than you can. About which I am sorry, as well. IceUnshattered (talk) 01:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
i just tried the dark river link. the one in the box at the bottom of "the sight" page works but the one at the top doesn't. it goes somewhere else.(Silverflame5028 (talk) 10:22, 17 January 2008 (UTC))
Rewrite
[edit]Can someone with an understanding of the book and fixing grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors and just rewrite the entire thing? It needs to look like The Sight's page.Wolfhorse (talk) 00:55, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
I tried. IceUnshattered (talk) 23:57, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Okay, it's much better than it was. Thank you! Wolfhorse (talk) 02:46, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm new here, but I just added several details to the story. If this ticks anyone off, I'm sorry.

On the Cover
[edit]Someone added to the Other section that Heatherpaw was on the cover. I also noticed that someone reverted it. The cover information is in the Sunset (Warriors) and The Sight (Warriors) articles, and I'm pretty sure it belongs in this one. Does anyone have any objections? If not, I'm going to put it back into the article. Epass (talk) 19:24, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
none from me (Silverflame5028 (talk) 10:24, 17 January 2008 (UTC))
You can't know for sure if it is Heatherpaw in the cover. -Redfur —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.96.112.35 (talk) 22:52, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Who else would it be? 76.27.108.99 (talk) 21:47, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- It has also been suggested that Fallen Leaves is on the cover. If someone could find a notable website saying who is on the cover, please post the link here. It would give this article another reference and all the other Warriors articles already have who is on the cover, so Dark River would match. Epass (talk) 11:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Plot
[edit]I've removed the plot section which was way too specific and cluttered the article. Please talk here about what should and should not be added to an future plot sections in this article. Thanks, Metros (talk) 19:50, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Here's some very important stuff:
- Fallen Leaf's story and his tunnels
- Lionpaw's new relationship with Heatherpaw and his training sessions with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost ending it
- Jaypaw's dream about Fallen Leaf and his stick, and his discovery of Cinderpaw being the reincarnation of Cinderpelt
- Hollypaw's nosy discovery of RiverClan's problems
- WindClan's three kits dissapearing and Heatherpaw, Breezepaw, Lionpaw, Jaypaw, and Hollypaw going to the tunnels to find them
- Jaypaw predicting the flood from the rain
- The kits being rescued and everyone okay
That's pretty much the main plot.
Snowdrop, 2/01/08, 4:22pm
I'm putting the plot back in, but I will remove cluttersome details. Epass (talk) 13:35, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Snowdrop, (and Redfur) when you sign your posts, don't write your username, but put 4 tildes, ~~~~. Thanks. Epass (talk) 21:21, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think the plot still is in need of trimming. Try to reduce it to the essentials. Shrewpelt (talk) 02:59, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
first paragraph
[edit]Who deleted the opening paragraph? The little bit that is left looks unsightingly short, and it gives no backround knowledge of the Warriors series. If someone has a good reason though, it's okay. Epass (talk) 11:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- If nobody responds I'll put it back in. Epass (talk) 19:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Going once, going twice. If nobody responds soon it is going back in. Epass (talk) 11:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, it's going back in. (I'm not very patient, am I?) Epass (talk) 15:45, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Going once, going twice. If nobody responds soon it is going back in. Epass (talk) 11:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
The 'Secrets' section?
[edit]I, personally, don't really like the Secrets section on the article, it's all really part of the plot. Does anyone have anything to say about this? For now, I'll leave it, but it annoys me. IceUnshattered (talk) 14:04, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- The Sight's article has a talents section, and it's just like the secrets'. It may be mentioned earlier in the article, but it is convenient to the readers to have all the info in one place. So, the way I see it, if it helps someone, and it hurts no one, it should be left in. But feel free to disagree. Epass (talk) 20:10, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Proof
[edit]I have gotten proof that Heatherpaw is on the Cover of the book. Go to http://www.warriorcats.com and watch the video. When you get to WindClan, the cat on the cover of Dark River appears! So that means it is Heatherpaw, because she is in WindClan. Epass (talk) 12:16, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's not really proof per Wikipedia's standards. That qualifies as original research. What you're saying is "because the video shows this, and this one character does this, then, it's this we think". What we need is a source that says "X is Y" without any necessary conclusions being drawn. Also, is Heatherpaw the only cat in WindClan? How can we conclude it's Heatherpaw and not Bobfoot or Jasonhead or Razorsharp? Metros (talk) 13:48, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- I guess you are right, although Heatherpaw is the only WindClan cat with any importance in the story. Anyone could see that it is Heatherpaw, but I guess that to Wikipedia, it's OR, even if it is not original research and Common Sense instead. Epass (talk) 20:07, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Heatherpaw has smoky blue eyes, like the cover. Lionpaw has amber. It's Heatherpaw on the cover. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paramore1231 (talk • contribs) 01:57, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, well, that's not significant proof. You need an author or the website to specifically announce that it is them on the cover. ~ Bella Swan? 00:47, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
