[edit]Good article. Also-Since Daphne family are the richest-from Blake Soap-how about this: The Scooby-Doo TV series is bankrolled by the Blake fortune-and all the characthers are ACTORS-which could explian how 4 teenagers and 1 dog can go around the world-without visible means of support!! Also that would explain why villians from the first series-reappear in later series as villians-but far different from when they first appear!!
Fair use rationale for Image:Daphne fred wnsd.jpg
[edit]Image:Daphne fred wnsd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Unsourced material
[edit]The following is unsourced information:
- According to the trivia quiz on the DVDs in the 'Complete 1st and 2nd Seasons' pack, Daphne's father helped pay for the van the gang drives around in, the psychedelically painted "Mystery Machine."[citation needed]
In an episode of What's New Scooby Doo, Daphne is outraged that a criminal cast a television extra to impersonate her and comments "Was Sarah Michelle Gellar too busy?", making a reference to Gellar playing Daphne in the movies.
She also appears in an episode of Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law when Shaggy and Scooby are accused of doing drugs and running from the police. She is constantly hit on by Peanut (Birdboy) throughout the episode. While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source. Also, none of this is really trivia, as trivia by its definition is "unimportant information" - it therefore shouldn't be in a trivia section but instead the information should be incorporated into the main article. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 19:54, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Irrelevant information
[edit]The following information, I feel, is really irrelevant to this article:
- In "Scoobra Kadoobra", the second episode of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, it is revealed that Daphne has ticklish feet - just after the episode ghost Maldror The Malevolent cast a curse of eternal sleep on her, Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy tried several unsuccesful waking-up methods such as washing her face with a bucket of cold water, striking an alarm clock near her ears, placing a slice of cheese pizza with a strong smell on her nose, even taking off her shoes to tickle her foot soles - with no avail.
Is it really important to know this? - Tbsdy lives (talk) 19:56, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Sexuality
[edit]I believe the issue of her potential homosexuality should not be readded. It places undue weight on a topic that I believe is a non-issue for most people. Also, the paper the section references contains the opinion of only one man, who, as a gay man himself who writes almost exclusively about gay issues, cannot be objective. - I strongly agree. JDDJS (talk) 21:23, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

- I agree that one source, and evidently biased, should not be considered credible. Considering I have seen probably 90% of all the Scooby cartoons, I have zero indication that Daphne has eyes for ANYONE of the same sex. Sounds like wishful thinking on the part of someone pushing an agenda... Ckruschke (talk)Ckruschke

Physical description - shoes
[edit]She wears low heels or flats, not high heels, as the intro states.

In Other Media section redundant
[edit]The "In Other Media" section is redundant because it lists portrayers already listed earlier in the article and omits other live-action actress such as Sarah Jeffrey. 23skidoo (talk) 20:06, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
