Article needs material on his tenure
[edit]What did Russell do as governor? How was the state the same or different at the end of his term? More is needed here.Parkwells (talk) 20:03, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Service in Civil War
[edit]Article says he left college at the outbreak of war and was commissioned as a captain - at age 16? that's how old he was in 1861. Does anyone have a cite for this? It seemed early in the war to be commissioning 16 year olds.Parkwells (talk) 00:19, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
