Sports results
[edit]Per the article guidelines at WikiProject Schools (WP:WPSCH/AG#OS),
Major extra curricular championships should be appropriately listed in a "Sports", "Athletics", or "Activities" section. Major extra curricular championships will be defined as the highest possible championship a team can win from that activity's organizing committee. In the United States, this would nominally be a "state championship". Individual awards should generally not be listed. National championships, when referenced, may also be listed. [Quotation marks in original]
To bring the article into compliance with these guidelines, I've cut out individual sports results, and am in the process of eliminating most or all of the tables of team results. Rather than space-filling tables listing all of the 5th places, I'm going to reduce things to short paragraphs, listing only the years in which state championships were won. This deleted material should not be restored without discussion here, including justification in terms of Wikipolicy. Ammodramus (talk) 16:47, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
