sources
[edit]I notice this article needs sources, there is a detailed account of Carrion's experiment in the book "Who goes First?" it provides citation and is considered a scholarly work. It also has a source for the last statement in the article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.95.66 (talk) 03:11, 5 January 2011 (UTC) holiguis
date of infection
[edit]I found both 1865 and 1885 as the year he infected himself. Does anyone know which is right? --WS 20:05, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
The references i found (inlcuding one from the Peruvian Department of Health) all state 1885, which would make sense because his date of birth is 1857. Being a medicine student at an age of 8 is highly unlikely. -- AgainErick 00:26, 5 April 2007 (UTC).
Named in his honour: Railway bridge "Puente Carrión"
[edit]A bridge of the Central Andina Railroad is also named "Puente Carrión" in his honour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Peru_railroad_steel_bridge.jpg - Riggenbach (talk) 13:47, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
