Cast member
[edit]Since "star" is unencyclopedic, I began using "cast member" as an alternative, as I have done on many other reality television tables. However, an editor disagrees and has instead used "personality". What are everyone's thoughts on this term? I think cast member is more suitable since that is what they are. – Meena • 15:32, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- I don’t know where you’re getting that “star” is “unencyclopedic”. Can you show me a source for this beyond your own opinion? The term is used repeatedly on similar seasons of Dancing on Ice, Strictly Come Dancing, and Dancing with the Stars (American TV series). Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:34, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- A star is the principle performer in a production. To label someone the star of a show is to say they are the lead role (would need a source) when they are part of an ensemble. Also, so as not to engage in an edit war, it'd be sensible if you didn't revert the page back per WP:3RR. – Meena • 15:46, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- None of them say “the star”. Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:48, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- “Cast member” is fine; if I see “star” on other articles, I’ll change it, but I’m not going to seek it out. Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:51, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

several of the week 2 songs are attributed to the wrong couples-Adele had "Clearly", Ricky had "Body Groove", Lou had "Hung Up" and Eddie had "Livin' on a Prayer"
additionally, the week 2 group performance was to "Land of 1,000 Dances", the week 2 Torvill & Dean performance was to "I Feel Like Dancing"
the save me skates-Ricky's was "If I Can Dream" by Elvis, Lou's was "Try" by Pink
and the week 1 group performance was to the Sigala & Adam Lambert version of the song Pelothong (talk) 01:30, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

Adele's judges scores are incorrect, Johnny gave her 9.5 and Oti gave her 8.5
Also Amber's Save Me skate was to "Power" by Little Mix, Ricky had the same one as last week Pelothong (talk) 04:27, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

- Please change Adele's individual judges scores-Johnny's score should be 9.5, not 9.0 and Oti should be 8.5, not 9.0
- Please add the songs for Amber and Ryan's Save Me skates-Amber's song is "Power" by Little Mix, Ricky's was the same song he had the previous week.
- Only source I have is the episode itself: https://www.itv.com/watch/dancing-on-ice/2a5040/2a5040a0074 Pelothong (talk) 16:11, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

- you're welcome-just one note, Amber did her save me skate first and Adele second, not sure if the order matters? Pelothong (talk) 18:20, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have no idea how the other weeks are ordered. I can switch them. Bgsu98 (Talk) 18:24, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

We do not call it a “finale” in the U.K. 2A00:23EE:1CB8:79D9:BC02:B1AF:6CD7:FA3E (talk) 15:02, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

“Eliminated 4th & 5th”
[edit]This is only used when it’s a double elimination and the couples leave at the same time, whereas this series Roxy was eliminated immediately and Lou was eliminated afterwards so they should not be joined together here. 2A00:23EE:2378:44CA:3062:F915:1B07:1233 (talk) 11:06, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
