I don't think this part is true:

After losing the ability to play guitar in a car accident in 1998 and separating from his wife
(former Miss Oregon USA[1]) Jennifer in 1999, Murphy withdrew from public life and returned to
Australia to pursue a career in photo journalism. He is currently studying media at The
University of Adelaide and is rumoured to have adopted a younger identity.

By the way, did this guy really start in the band Soul Asylum when he was 12? Rogerthat 10:24, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Australia? Dan Murphy is from Duluth, MN. Drysarcasm 19:13, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This bloke has got the American Murphy mixed up with an Australian Murphy. Rogerthat Talk 03:42, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This Dan Murphy never played bass for Elvis C, didn't lose his ability to play guitar, and is highly unlikely to be dealing antiques. This is people making crap up and screwing with Wiki-P. Gonzeaux 08:24, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
