[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Dan Murphy's. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}

Suggested additions and updates
[edit]Hi all, disclosing a conflict of interest here: Dan Murphy's is a subsidiary of my employer so I believe best practice is to suggest edits here rather than make them myself.
Some of the information on this page is out of date and/or lacking in depth for a company of this size and public interest.
I'd appreciate any guidance as to how best optimise this entry, eg: correcting the number of stores and adding historical background and business details in line with other entities of this size.
For example, recommend a new section such as:
Wine Cellar Program Dan Murphy’s has offered a Cellar Release service since the 1950s [1] , which involves periodic releases of expertly matured wines [2]. Specifically chosen for their ageing potential, wines are also selected for having particular value for their price point and varietal. The chosen wines are cellared in ideal conditions allowing their flavour and complexity to develop. They are tasted often to assess the progress of the ageing process and to determine their release date – which is not always their period of optimum drinkability, as some wines are chosen for release with an eye to further cellaring in the homes of customers. - Thank you, you have indeed done the right thing. The content you propose is not optimally worded, as it's a bit too promotional, but the overall idea is good, and you've supplied the requisite sources, so I'll integrate it. DS (talk) 17:41, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, and to be clear: if you have factual corrections to suggest, this is the place to do it. Supply your sources, of course. DS (talk) 17:58, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Too promotional
[edit]I think the inclusion of the lowest price guarantee at the top of the article is too promotional. It is inconsistent with the practice for other Australian retailers that have the same guarantee such as Officeworks and Harvey Norman. Imurch (talk) 00:34, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
- I tend to agree. I followed the source (the company's own website!), and found what is presumably a typo - "offer the most extensive range at the lowest process possible". (My emphasis.) To say it's a real and effective policy, we really need an independent source. I'm going to be bold and remove it. HiLo48 (talk) 00:56, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
