Too many images

[edit]

The two images that are not in the infobox are too much. First, they're not clear. Second, they really don't add anything to the subject. The band in the first image, File:Back From Ashes Mayhemfest 2011.jpg isn't even discussed in the article. The second image is better, but doesn't add anything to the article. Overall, the subject is not served by the images. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:44, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Or better stated, help me understand why they're needed. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:55, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - I disagree, Johnson's start with and departure from BFA are mentioned in the article, and both pictures portray Johnson playing drums in a manner that words cannot convey, similar to company logos. If these pictures should be eliminated from the article, then no article should have more than one image of a band or musician. No Wikipedia policy has been mentioned about this thus far. At a minimum, the gallery that I created with one of my edits should be reinstated in place of the photos on the right side of the page. --Jax 0677 (talk) 19:58, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
He can't even be clearly seen in the first image. And you're right, there are no policies about bad taste in image use or overuse of images. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:19, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
