How did Dalton derive that second relating x(I) with p(I) and p(t) Rida moudoud (talk) 10:30, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The diagram looks wrong to me. The partial pressures of the air's components are just the percentages and a wrong number for carbon dioxide to match the nominal air pressure. For the proper atmospheric composition look [1]. My calculations lead to a partial pressure for nitrogen of 791.25 mbar and for oxygen 212.28 mbar.
