El Greco
[edit]In 2 separate conversations with the Dallas Museum of Art registrar's office - the museum has confirmed St. John by El Greco, after El Greco remains in its collection and it is on the website...Modernist (talk) 17:31, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
It is likely that the St. John painting is not by El Greco. Until the curatorial department confirms the identity of the artist, we would prefer not to advertise the painting on Wikipedia. The registrar's database and the museum website are not up to date. It would be best for you to contact the curatorial department directly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiforever2012 (talk • contribs) 17:40, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
- Who are "we"? Wikipedia is not a site for advertising. . .Mean as custard (talk) 17:46, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
