Body electric
[edit]I've heard Daimler in 1946 introduced the first electric side windows in cars--except, I can't find which Daimler. Anybody know? Trekphiler 10:53, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Merge into DaimlerChrysler
[edit]As it has been pretty well known since 2003 that the "merger of two equals" was actually a buyout of Chrysler by Daimler-Benz, this article should be merged into the DaimlerChrysler page as a history section. Plus, when Chrysler is jettisoned, it would not make sense to have this page separate from the Daimler page (the new name of DaimlerChrysler after Chrysler is jettisoned). - The Daimler-Benz, Daimler and DaimlerChrysler pages should be merged, its fairly confusing as it stands currently. Cmabbott 22:28, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Now that Daimler has sold Chrysler, there is no longer the need to merge these pages.
- That makes no sense whatsoever. Now that Chrysler has been jettisoned, all the more reason to merge this page with DaimlerChrysler. KansasCity 17:20, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Not sure if this is of any use, but came across it while doing some sorting on the Bundesarchiv collection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.126.81.160 (talk) 01:04, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Benz and Shoa
[edit]I'm amazed there's nothing written about the relationship of this company and the Holocaust. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.136.158.62 (talk) 16:01, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
I have added a source about the company's employment of slave labour in World War 2. This article should include the history of the company, not just during the war, but generally. If anybody has a more detailed history of the company, please add it here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.187.248.212 (talk) 10:20, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
