Was the lack of editing deliberate?
[edit]The speech exposed the Kaiser as a complete fool and buffoon.
The official reason given at the time for failure to edit the interview was confusion on the part of the German politicians and civil servants. According to other accounts, however, Bülow laughed himself silly when he read it and decided it was a golden opportunity to drop the Kaiser in the shit and put a end to his interventions in politics. Does anyone know more about this? Norvo (talk) 15:50, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
