So in the British slang, daft meaning silly, but does it have any other definitions or connatations?

No mention of the daft is complete without the expression, 'as daft as a brush', which wiktionary correctly lists as a standard usage. But what is the origin of 'as daft as a brush'?Optymystic (talk) 18:27, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
