What expansion slots will it have???
[edit]I have read conflicting reports... the Ars Technica article seems to imply that it will only have 1 PCIe slot, and one ExpressCard slot. However, the photo in the DailyTech article seems to show 1 PCI slot, 1 PCIe slot, and 1 ExpressCard slot.
So what is it? Will this thing have a PCI slot or no? No PCI slot would be a huge dealbreaker for people trying to shrink their current boxes who want to reuse expensive cards such as high-end sound cards or GPIB cards. I can see my physics lab being filled with small data-acquisition PCs in this form factor, but only if we can use GPIB PCI cards. Just wondering if anyone has any more complete information on the available expansion slots. Moxfyre 00:55, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- It does indeed have one PCI slot. I have studied the AMD specification and press materials posted on the website. Cheers, ~Crazytales 12:16, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- To be clear, the official spec provides for up to 2 slots, which may be any combination of PCI or PCI-Express at the manufacturer's discretion. Most early boards will likely have at least 1 PCI slot. There is no requirement for Express Card in the final spec. — Aluvus t/c 16:26, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, added that info to the article. MOXFYRE (contrib) 16:36, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
official website
[edit]The official website is something in Russian about navigating a mountain terrain. I think it should be taken down and reported to AMD.--tumaru 18:50, 26 May 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tumaru (talk • contribs)
Micro-DTX
[edit]Does anybody have any information on Micro-DTX? It seems to be very uncommon, and I can't find any good sources of info. 68.100.121.207 (talk) 17:42, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
