Why do we refer to the subject here - "DTCC" - as a "four-letter acronym", when it is not an acronym, and have the word "acronym" hyperlinked to the article that tells us what the difference is between an acronym and an initialism (which this is)? It makes a nonsense of the link. I don't write articles for Wiki, but do edit for grammar now and then, and I think writers should take note of the difference between acronyms and initialisms. Once we merge the meanings, we lose the meanings. Ajarmitage 15:21, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
