- Merging with DBpedia does not make sense to me. DBpedia Spotlight has a life on its own, including a separate development team, and different focus. It uses the results from DBpedia, and inherits "DBpedia" as a family name due to its initial focus on DBpedia as the target Knowledge Base (KB), but it can be used for other KBs too. We might need to rename the tool to make this clearer, and then I plan to bring this page back. User:Pablomendes
