[edit]Was surprised to stumble upon this article. Notability has not been established. Even within the Oklahoma Native art world, smalling is not notable. He exists and has created art but has not won major awards, is not "widely cited by peers or successors," has not "a significant new concept, theory, or technique," has not "played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work," has not "won significant critical attention," etc. Every single artist on the planet doesn't automatically need a Wikipedia article. The article's author created an account at a Wikithon in 2015, linked it, then never edited Wikipedia again. Yuchitown (talk) 16:07, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Yuchitown
- Comment I have removed the PROD. I agree that the subject does not seem to meet WP:NARTIST. He may meet WP:GNG, however. I have found a few other sources, and with some of those already in the article, it may be enough. RebeccaGreen (talk) 01:56, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
- Really? What is he notable for besides art? Are you going to salvage this article? Yuchitown (talk) 02:18, 4 January 2019 (UTC)Yuchitown
