WP: Japan Assessment Commentary
[edit]The article was rated Start-class, as it was found deficient in the following areas:
- References: Nearly complete, I think only one or two sections were lacking in-line citations.
- Coverage: I recommend some mention of modern versions of this armor. I'm mainly thinking of the dou used in kendo, but if something could be found to reference use by samurai re-enactors, that would be a welcome bit of information.
- Style: What's with all the "Dou (dō)"? Mention both in the beginning, pick one, and use it consistently.
Pending the outcome of any discussion that might ensue, I may at some later time work on these points myself, if there are no objections and when I have time. Boneyard90 (talk) 07:56, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
