[edit]Hey, great first article! very descriptive and interesting material. I only have a few suggestions; the first being that since she seems like such a prolific Canadian filmmaker it might be interesting to add what films she made with the NFB in her filmography section. I know you mention some of the films she made with the NFB in the other paragraphs but I think that showing how many films she made with the NFB in relation to the films she made outside the NFB would help reinforce the idea that she was a key figure in Canadian filmmakers. Second, and this is something I struggled with a lot and still not sure where I stand on the matter, but it's the use of internal links. Obviously they're needed and are very useful, for instance under the section "filmmaking with the NFB" when you link Canadian Film Award, however i feel like they might be a bit over used, like under the section "Early career in media", when you link Canada. I feel like the reader doesnt need a link there and perhaps its over used in other spots as well. Finally, and this would require addition info which just might not be available, but in her filmography she seems to have co-worked on films in various position. If possible, maybe try to find out with whom she worked with, and see if she worked with the same people, or something of the sort. All and all, it's an amazing article. Keep up the good work!!

[edit]Hey, great article! You have found great sources and it shows. Your information is extremely clear and easy to read. Moreover, it is quite interesting. Your article is also nicely structure. Everything is in a good order and it is easy to follow from one category to another. Like Pepito gun, I agree that the use of links is important, but for the more obvious words is it really necessary to put some? I would also write a little bit more about the films in your text. Like you said she did lots and lots of film for the NFB , so were you able to find more information on that? And finally when you talk about the dance documentary Flamenco at 5:15 and what it seems like her last project Company of strangers, it would be interesting to have more information on those two films since it looks like they are the culmination of her years as a filmmaker.

[edit]Hi there! You have added some great content to Cynthia Scott's Wikipedia page. I have read over your contributions so here are a couple notes I have jotted down for you.
Revisions needed. I recommended you proofread your contributions to the article to catch punctuation errors and typos. I have found a few for you to edit:
- 1 Fix "an" -> and, "Scot" -> "Scott" in After Career section, "FFlamenco" -> "Flamenco" in Flamenco at 5:15 section
- 2 When you describe a place or a timeframe, you should add a coma after it before continuing your sentence. For example, "In her interview with Sarah Kernochan Scott gives credit" should be "In her interview with Sarah Kernochan, Scott gives...". And "After working in television Scott learned..." should be "After working in television, Scott learned...". There are a couple other instances where there should be coma to make your writing more fluid.
- 3 The sentence "In an interview with Sarah Kernochan interview Scott states that..." is confusing. I believe the word "interview" is there one too many times.
- 4 There are a few errors with in-text referencing. Your citation should come after the period. For instance, "...where her Oscar award winning documentary Flamenco at 5:15 was screened [16]." should be "...where her Oscar award winning documentary Flamenco at 5:15 was screened.[16] ".
Other than that, great work! I would just review typos and in-text referencing. Good luck!Fallszn (talk) 18:21, 31 October 2019 (UTC)Fallzsn

[edit]Really interesting and complete article! I really like the sections you had describing her films - very clear and unbiased. I made a couple of edits pertaining to grammar, and a couple of phrases which used words like 'passion for' or 'love for' as these can be interpreted as subjective. I also think it might be good to vary your word voice a bit, as the use of the word filmmaker got to be a little redundant and as a word itself it's quite vague in its meaning. Finally I would suggest that the 'after career' section go after the filmography, as the filmography would be better suited closer to the section on her career. Overall, great job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amichevrolet (talk • contribs) 00:41, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Great article! Some things I would change though is the format of the filmography tables, and also get rid of the section about the music video. It feels a little redundant seeing as how a Wikipedia page for it already exists. Other than that, the article looks great. Donut12345 (talk) 20:47, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
