British?
[edit]Category: British Female Singers?. Is Cyndi British?. Although she speaks pretty fluent English, she certainly sounds French and described herself as French on MYMU. Is she married to a Brit, maybe? (sorted) ChrisRed 08:55, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
::Anybody know when she was born? One website says she is 22, but if she watched 'The Bodyguard' at 14, then she must be at least 29 and definitely wearing rather well :-)(sorted)160.84.253.241 11:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]I believe the Cherie article should be merged into this one, as they are the same person (stated in this article). -Dewelar (talk) 03:05, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Strong Support, Merge It's one and the same person, so merge them. This one's easy... let's move the previous question and do it... -Cesium_133 (talk) 07:35, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
I agree. I don't think many fans know that they are the same person. It may even help her career a bit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.86.92.96 (talk) 01:13, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
- support the merge - seems a good idea.--BabbaQ (talk) 11:49, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
- I have dne considerable work merging the two. Now I am suggesting that the main article is under her real full name Cyndi Almouzni. werldwayd (talk) 04:34, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

Cherie (singer) → Cyndi Almouzni – Cyndi Almouzni started her career in 2003-2004 as Cherie mainly in the States with a string of hits most prominently "I'm Ready". Then she resurfaced using both Cyndi Almouzni, her birth name and the mononym Cyndi. This was mainly in UK for Eurovision with her song "I'll Leave My Heart". Because of the various names, I suggest we stick to her real name Cyndi Almouzni and make (Cherie (singer) and Cyndi (singer) as redirects. werldwayd (talk) 04:34, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Support; seems reasonable to me, and a more natural title. bobrayner (talk) 14:13, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Support per nom, reasonable and appears to be the new common name. creating G6 for this. Tiggerjay (talk) 19:35, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
