Hi Juliancolton! I will be reviewing this article for GA.

  • Be sure to wikilink terms in the lede that may be unfamiliar or entirely unknown to a layman, such as: tropical cyclone, landfall (meteorology), maximum sustained winds, wind shear, etc.
  • "upper-air pattern took its toll on the cyclone as it progressed due south; it lost tropical characteristics to the northeast of Norfolk Island by April 12." - There are three it/its here, which can make things confusing. Maybe replace the first "its" with "a"? Then you could substitute the "it" after the semicolon with "Sose".
  • "The storm's large fetch generated enormous swells as far away as Australia's Eastern Seaboard, where surfers took advantage of the abnormally intense conditions." - You forgot to mention that 2 people died in Australia. Quoting later on in the article, "A 53-year-old man and his 9-year-old son both drowned in the heavy surf near Gladstone on April 8."
  • "In all, Sose killed seven people; total monetary damage is unknown." - I counted a total of 9 deaths; 2 in Vanuatu, 4 in New Zealand, 2 in Australia, and 1 in New Caledonia. 2 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 9.
  • "a mid-level ridge to the east halted forced the storm to turn due south;" - This doesn't look grammatically correct to me. Maybe try this instead? "a mid-level ridge to the east halted, forcing the storm to turn due south;"
  • Why is the title of reference #6, "Tropical Cyclone 19P (Waka) Best Track"?
  • Overall, very nice job on the article! I will likely pass and list it as a GA after these issues are fixed/addressed.--12george1 (talk) 14:38, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
