What is N in the I*N*L substitution? That should be explained. 128.211.169.1 (Talk) 16:10, 21 November 2014‎

Must be the wires per length, which I would write instead as n = N/L, where N is the number of wires in length L, like turns per length for a solenoid. Could be written more clearly in terms of surface current (density) K. Wicklet (talk) 00:18, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
