General: Article is new enough and long enough |

Policy compliance:
- Adequate sourcing:
- Neutral:
- Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing: - ? earwig gives 0% but sources are in bengali; i am concerned by googletranslating the business insider article - it says "The Nawab of Bogra invited the British Governor Sir John Anderson [...] And after eating it, he was so impressed that he arranged to send Bogra curd to his aunts and uncles in England" our article says " the Nawab of Bogra invited Sir John Anderson, the British Governor. He was so impressed by Curd of House of Nawab that he arranged for Curd of Bogra to be sent to his relatives in England" -that's too close for me.
further, the recipe section says in source translation: "Pour the milk into a clean pan or skillet. Put the pan in the oven. Now keep burning. The slower the fire in the oven, the more delicious the yogurt will be. Now decide whether to make white or ghee colored yoghurt. If you want to make white yoghurt, take the pan down after a couple of hours. Put the pan in the oven for three to three and a half hours for ghee colored yoghurt. When the milk boils from 2 kg to 1 kg, pour sugar in it. Wait until the sugar melts. When the milk boils, lower the pan. Wait until cool. Heat a clay pot or saucer. Now pour cold milk on it. Mix one pinch of old curd well with milk. Now jump and cover the saree. Remove from the heat and leave for four hours. If it does not freeze, take another one and a half to two hours. Serve chilled after freezing." and we have: "Pour the milk into a clean pan or skillet. Put the pan in the oven. Then keep burning. The slower the fire in the oven, the more delicious the curd will be. Now decide whether to make white or ghee colored curd. If you want to make white curd, take the pan down after a couple of hours. Put the pan in the oven for three to three and a half hours for ghee colored yoghurt. When the milk boils from 2 kg to 1 kg, pour sugar in it. Wait until the sugar melts. Remove from the heat and leave for four hours. If it does not freeze, take another one and a half to two hours. Serve chilled after freezing" - that's not acceptable so I'm failing this and marking the article as copyvio Hook eligibility:
- Cited: - (doesn't mater now) AGF but the cite would need to be on sentences
- Interesting:

@Mujinga: Sorry for violating copyright. I rewrote the article and submitted. Now waiting for approval of administrator. Mehedi Abedin 15:29, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
- Attempt to rewrite became more close paraphrasing. Remove nom. Victuallers (talk) 21:47, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
@Victuallers: Is it possible to open the nomination? An administrator approved my rewritten article. Mehedi Abedin 18:52, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Really. That is odd as it still needs a strong copy edit, it has a random list of shops, and its too short for DYK. I think you need to find a buddy to assist you. You can ask at the teahouse to find one. Victuallers (talk) 21:02, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
Copyvio problem solved
[edit]This article had copyright problem. It fixed it by rewriting the article (but I kept the article structure) and submitted it to this temporary page. I request administrator to inspect the temporary page and approve my new writing. Mehedi Abedin 17:29, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sorry Mehedi Abedin but you aren't really doing yourself any favours here. The thing to do to resolve close paraphrasing is to read the source, look away and write your own version, then check the source to see if you are too close. But you are simply trying to adapt the source... let's take the recipe section:
THE ORIGINAL TEXT IN BENGALI, TRANSLATED IN GOOGLE TRANSLATE: Pour the milk into a clean pan or skillet. Serve chilled after freezing.
THE ARTICLE TEXT BEFORE COPYVIO CONCERNS WERE RAISED: Pour the milk into a clean pan or skillet. When the milk boils, lower the pan. Wait until cool. Heat a clay pot or saucer. Now pour cold milk on it. Mix one pinch of old curd well with milk. Now cover the pot. Remove from the heat and leave for four hours. If it does not freeze, take another one and a half to two hours. Serve chilled after freezing
THE REJIGGED TEMP ARTICLE: First you have to pour milk in a clean pan or pan. Then put the pan in the oven. It has to give his drawn fuel. In order for the curd to be delicious, you have to let the fire burn slowly in the oven. If you want to make curd white, you have to take the pan down after a couple of hours. If you want to make curd colorful, otherwise you have to keep the pan in the oven for three to three and a half hours. When the milk boils from 2 kg to 1 kg, sugar should be poured in the milk. After the sugar is completely melted, when the milk boils, lower the pan and let it cool. Then after heating the clay pot a little, pour cold milk. An old pinch of curd should be mixed well with milk. Then the pot should be covered. Put the pot on the fire and leave it for four hours. If it does not freeze, it will take another one and a half to two hours. After freezing and cooling, it will became Curd of Bogra.[8][note 1]
It's clear you are still simply substituting words or phrases to try to squeeze this through. The whole structure is the same! "pan or pan" doesn't even make sense!! Mujinga (talk) 22:20, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
Also google translate from source: "The Nawab of Bogra invited the British Governor Sir John Anderson [...] And after eating it, he was so impressed that he arranged to send Bogra curd to his aunts and uncles in England"
Original article: "the Nawab of Bogra invited Sir John Anderson, the British Governor. He was so impressed by Curd of House of Nawab that he arranged for Curd of Bogra to be sent to his relatives in England"
New version: "When Sir John Anderson, Governor of Bengal, was invited by Nawab of Bogra in 1938, He liked Curd of House of Nawab so much that he sent Curd of Bogra to his relatives in England."
Still not that different Mujinga (talk) 22:29, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
@Mujinga: What about now? Looks like this new version is different. Mehedi Abedin 10:26, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
I'm not going to look again. I checked some of your other articles and unfortunately there seems to be a pattern of word for word translation of chunks of text, so I requested an investigation at Wikipedia:Contributor_copyright_investigations#Mehediabedin. Mujinga (talk) 14:59, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
