Suggested merge from Curculio nucum
[edit]It looks to me as if Curculio nucum should be merged into this article. Comments, anyone? --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 16:10, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm undecided about cases like these. It would only make sense for Curculio if sections were also added about other notable species, otherwise too much emphasis will be placed on C. nucum. --Stemonitis 07:51, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Someone's edited my comment - I originally wrote that the Acorn Weevil article needed to be merged in, but it's now been modified and moved to Curculio nucum, so it doesn't need merging. I'm removing the merge notices. --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 15:07, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Clover root curculio
[edit]The "clover root curculio" (Sitona hispidulus), needs to link somewhere from the Chimney swift article, but this doesn't seem to be the right place - suggestions? (Btw, a google search seems to indicate that this bug is "notable".) - "Clover root curculio" (a.k.a. "Clover weevil") seems to be a common misnomer; I'll add something over at the Sitona genus page. ~E:74.60.29.141 (talk) 19:20, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
File:Kaldari Curculio occidentis 01.jpg to appear as POTD
[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Kaldari Curculio occidentis 01.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on November 22, 2014. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2014-11-22. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:09, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
